A New Jersey woman is suing her boss for sexual harassment after claiming he unzipped his pants and exposed himself to her, left a dildo on her desk and regularly made ‘vile’ unwanted sexual advances towards her.
Meaghan Martin, 27, claims Dru DiSilvestro – a manager at Eric M. Krise Electrical Contractor LLC in Elmer, New Jersey – sent her a photo of his genitals that he had taken in the office bathroom and was caught on camera bragging that women shouldn’t have the same rights as men.
In the lawsuit filed against DiSilvestro, Martin also alleges that the company’s human resources manager created an ‘inappropriate-comment jar’ that resulted in $1 being contributed for any inappropriate comment made in the office.
She claims that at the end of each week, the HR manager would pick out notes from the comment jar – many which related to DiSilvestro’s conduct – and there would be enough fines to pay for lunch for the entire office.

Martin claims Dru DiSilvestro – a manager at Eric M. Krise Electrical Contractor LLC in Elmer, New Jersey – once put a sex toy on her desk and sent her a photo of his genitals that he had taken in the office bathroom
Martin, a mother of three, was hired at the company as a receptionist in 2016 and was promoted to residential manager.
She claims DiSilvestro, a 33-year-old married man, made almost daily sexual advances towards her during this time.
According to the lawsuit, he once unzipped his pants and held his penis in his hand in front of her before asking: ‘Isn’t it nice and girthy?’
He put a dildo on her desk in November last year and allegedly said: ‘I bet you could take the whole thing’.
Martin also alleges that DiSilvestro sent her a photo of his genitals from the office bathroom, saying: ‘This is what you’re missing out on’.
She claims DiSilvestro had a conversation with her over Snapchat during work hours in October last year in which he alluded to wanting to have sex with her.
Martin alleges that DiSilvestro regularly made comments about her physical appearance, hair, clothing, breasts and buttocks, according to the lawsuit.

During the Snapchat conversation, DiSilvestro made sexually suggestive comments about how Martin could help him relieve stress
She said he once told her ‘those jeans make your butt look good’. Whenever she would bend over to pick things up in the office, DiSilvestro would also allegedly say: ‘Mmmm,I would tear that up’.
DiSilvestro began sending her text message in which he apologized in an attempt to mitigate the situation after she complained and took a leave of absence
Martin filmed him going on a tirade about women’s rights last month in which he stated: ‘Women should not have the same rights as men do’ and ‘(women) need to be told what to do’.
Martin claims DiSilvestro’s behavior was just dismissed by the company as an ‘office joke’.
According to the lawsuit, Martin’s doctor ordered her to take a leave of absence due to anxiety and panic attacks brought on by the alleged harassment.
Soon after, DiSilvestro began sending her text message in which he apologized in an attempt to mitigate the situation.
‘As alleged in the complaint, Mrs Martin was forced to endure vile and unwanted sexual advances on a near daily basis,’ her attorney, Matthew A. Luber, said.
‘The video of Mr DiSilvestro’s shameless and sexist comments is repulsive and shows why the vigorous prosecution of discrimination cases is so very important. We look forward to our day in court.’
An attorney for DiSilvestro and the company said Martin’s allegations were ‘not well-founded’.
He described DiSilvestro as a ‘class clown’ and accused Martin of trying to ‘have a pay day’.
