School administrators in Louisiana are investigating a Thursday brawl at a local middle school after cell phone footage showed a coach slamming a female student to the ground. 

The footage was captured at Ponchatoula Junior High School, located near Lake Pontchartrain, and shows the man forcibly slam the girl into the ground. 

He then puts his knee to the girl’s chest and pins her to the ground, while screaming: ‘You’re gonna be still or I’m gonna stomp your a– on this concrete.’

According to the girl’s mother, Althea Abron, the girl has struggled since the incident occurred.

‘It just traumatized her,’ Abron explained to ABC News. ‘She’s having a hard time. She doesn’t feel safe.’

On Facebook, the mother said that her daughter had been jumped by a group of girls and that the men had held her down while looking for the other girls. 

She said: ‘Now I’m making jokes and my baby got jump at school and I’m pissed!!!they held my baby down!!!and jump her im looking for these lil girls’

The Tangipahoa Parish School System released a statement saying that they were conducting a ‘thorough’ investigation. 

‘We are deeply saddened by the incident on the video,’ Melissa Stilley, superintendent of schools, saidin a statement. 

‘This behavior does not represent the expectations we have for the adults and students on our campus. We are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and actions are being taken.’
