Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rocked up early on Tuesday morning to maximise preparations ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League clash with Barcelona.
The Red Devils host the Spanish giants in the quarter-final first-leg at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, knowing full well that they must get a positive result at home to give them every opportunity of progressing to the last-four.
And Solskjaer, who was recently giving the United job on a permanent basis, was pictured arriving at the Carrington training base at dawn.

Solskjaer is looking to maximise the time available to him ahead of the clash with Barcelona
Solskjaer appeared in a relaxed mood ahead of training, acknowledging supporters and photographers as he entered Carrington on the eve of the eagerly-anticipated European clash.
Since taking over on a full-time basis, the Norwegian managed to overcome Watford but recently fell to defeat against a strong Wolves outfit in the Premier League, putting United’s top four hopes in danger.
And the 46-year-old will be desperate to bounce back under the lights at Old Trafford against Lionel Messi and Co as it gives United another avenue of qualifying for next season’s competition.
