Heidi Klum throws lavish birthday bash for son Johan as she celebrates his big day with Tom Kaulitz

Heidi Klum knows how to throw a party.

Fresh off her annual Halloween party extravaganza in New York City, the former supermodel rolled out a bounce house-themed bash for her son Johan on his 12th birthday at her lavish home in Los Angeles on Saturday.

And the America’s Got Talent judge shared some of the fun in the sun on her Instagram Story.

The 45-year old mother of four pulled out all of the stops for the bash.

There were several inflatable playgrounds set up on the plush property for all of the kids to enjoy, which included an obstacle course bouncy-house.

At one point, Heidi and her beau Tom Kaulitz got in on the fun and walked, hopped and slid through the inflatables.

One of the highlights of the day came moments after friends and family sang Happy Birthday to Johan as he stood over his Grand Theft Auto-themed cake. 

Somehow the birthday boy convinced his mom’s America’s Got Talent co-worker and friend Mel B to let him push her face into the top of the cake.

Being the good sport that she is, Mel pulled her face out of the tasty treat, laughed and flashed a big beaming smile as Heidi tried to lick some of the pieces of cake that fell off of her face. 

The theme: The kid got to indulge in several bounce house inflatables

It’s not just for kids: Heidi and her beau Tom even got in on the fun 

Work of art: There was even a big wall set up so Johan could get creative and his family and friends could leave happy birthday wishes

The German born model also hired some chefs for the festivities who made fresh tacos and brick oven pizza, as well as an Italian ice maker.

There were also a few graphic artists on site and some cute animals on display.

Arguably one of the hits of the day was a big wall where revelers got to sign their names and leave birthday wishes and personal works of art.

Aww: Heidi and Tom seemed to enjoying the fun in the sun as much as the kids

It appears Johan’s father, singing sensation Seal, was not at the birthday bash.

He and ex-wife Heidi also share son Henry, 13, and daughter Lou, nine. The blonde beauty also has a daughter Helene, 14, from a previous relationship.

According to Heidi’s appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in September, she met her new beau, Tom, at a mutual friend’s birthday party.   

They have been photographed on several occasions since their first public appearance together in May of this year.   

Kaulitz is best known as the guitarist and backing singer of the band Tokio Hotel, which includes his twin brother, Bill Kaulitz, on lead vocals.
