Karl Stefanovic will attend the Logies without his wife Jasmine Yarbrough

Karl Stefanovic’s new wife Jasmine Yarbrough, 34, will reportedly be a no show at this year’s Logie Awards on the Gold Coast on Sunday night.

According to a report in the Sun Herald, the glamorous Mara & Mine shoe designer is still in Paris on business. 

Former Today Show host and Gold Logie winner Karl Stefanovic, 44, only jetted to the Gold Coast himself on Saturday, after supporting his wife in the French capital. 

Shoe designer Jasmine is in the fashion mecca with her heiress business partner Tamie Ingham, with the pair showing their designs at Paris Fashion Week.

According to the report, despite Karl attending the awards show without his glamorous new wife he couldn’t be more pleased with his wife’s business success.  

Speculation has been rife that Jasmine would miss the ceremony this week, after she took to Instagram on Tuesday to show herself and Tamie in Paris. 

She later announced a collaboration with designer Albus Lumen for a resort-style collaboration together which was to be shown in the city.

It comes after reports that Jasmine was banned from walking the red carpet with Karl last year, according to a report by Woman’s Day magazine. 

The report said their was a ‘tug-of-war’ leading up TV’s night of nights amid the ongoing plummeting ratings of the Today Show.

Last year, Jasmine attended the ceremony but did not walk the red carpet with the Today host, with a source telling the publication: ‘Nine told [Karl] they didn’t want Jasmine there.’

A source claimed that the fact Today’s ratings have been dwindling since Karl split with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn and subsequently began dating Jasmine was a factor in the decision.   

‘They told him in no uncertain terms that it wasn’t a good look to bring Jasmine to the event and banned her from the red carpet,’ alleged the insider.

‘They ensured no footage of Jasmine went to air during the telecast, and that wasn’t easy when she was sitting next to him.’

A Channel Nine spokesperson later told Daily Mail Australia that the Woman’s Day report was ‘not correct’ – effectively denying the claims. 

Before the ceremony, Karl shared a photo to Instagram of Jasmine in her Logies dress – a strapless, black and white gown by designer Toni Matičevski.

‘One of us scrubbed up alright. See you all in the morning,’ Karl captioned the snap. ‘Keep it classy Goldy’.

Jasmine also shared an Instagram photo of herself dressed up for the evening, writing in the caption: ‘First Logies with my poser.’

Meanwhile, Cosmopolitan Australia declared Jasmine the ‘best dressed’ on the night, despite the fact she did not walk the red carpet.  

Soon after last year’s Logies, Jasmine and Karl married at a lavish ceremony at the One & Only resort in Mexico with Karl later axed from the Today Show.
