It is also believed that Sanchez has been training away from Carrington so that he can fully focus on getting back fit.

It comes after United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed to Sanchez that he would be part of his plans for the new season.

Sanchez knows that Greenwood is also going to become a more regular feature in the United team.

The 17-year-old was a second half substitute in United’s first Premier League game of the season on Sunday.

Greenwood came on for Marcus Rashford in the 86th minute after United had stuck four past Chelsea.
