Universal Studios Orlando bans group after they were photographed throwing Nazi salute and white supremacy signs on roller coaster

  • Photograph was taken on the ‘Revenge of the Mummy’ on Sunday during the park’s Passholder Appreciation Day 
  • The four riders could be seen holding up white supremacy signs and Nazi salutes
  • Picture was posted on the Annual Passholder group and was removed by the amusement park on Monday
  • A statement from Universal that was shared across social media and indicated that they had removed the photo 
  • Park also banned the guests from coming back to Universal Studios 

Four people have been reportedly banned from Universal Studios in Orlando after they were photographed making white supremacy signs and Nazi salutes while on a ride. 

The group were snapped making the Nazi salute and ‘OK’ hand gesture while riding the ‘Revenge of the Mummy’ attraction at the park on Sunday. 

Sunday was one of the park’s Passholder Appreciation Days and the photo was shared to the Annual Passholder group’s closed Facebook group. The image was then shared to Reddit, Twitter and across social media.

People soon blasted the image as being offensive and asked for the amusement park to act. 

By Monday, the photo was reported as being removed. 

A statement from Universal that was shared across social media and indicated that they had removed the photo and banned the guests from coming back to the park.

‘Hate has no place here — and we have no tolerance for any display of hatred within our destination,’ Universal said in their statement.

‘We stand for diversity, inclusion, and respect. This photo is appalling and we pulled it from our Facebook page as soon as we became aware of it. 

‘Any Guest using hate speech or displaying hate symbols will be immediately removed from our destination and not allowed to return.’ 

The identities of the four are currently unknown.
