Kaia Gerber celebrates turning 18 by dressing like a dominatrix as she steps out with mystery man

She turned 18 earlier this week and is finding time to celebrate in the middle of New York Fashion Week. 

And Kaia Gerber went with a very bold look indeed as she headed to her birthday bash at New York’s The Edition Hotel, Friday night, alongside friends and her famous parents. 

The newly minted adult, showed off her model figure in a leather ensemble that channeled the teen’s inner dominatrix.  

She paired a leather skirt, that featured a near hip-high slit, with a corset top, that featured seven straps wrapping around her chest and former a choker around her neck. 

Kaia wore a large leather belt, with a large gold buckle and unique black stilettos that went up to her knee with single black straps and were adorned with gold pins. 

The show stopping outfit needed few accessories as she wore small gold earrings and carried a small black leather clutch. 

She was accompanied by a mystery man who wore a red dress and knee high socks for the evening out.

She was joined by her mom and dad Rande Gerber for the pre-weekend celebration.

The original supermodel looked stunning to celebrate her daughter. 

Cindy wore an all gold, zip-up jumpsuit and gold stilettos. 

For an added touch of gold she was in a golden, diamond wig and carried a white gold clutch. 

While the Casamigos founder was dressed down compared to the ladies in his life, as he wore dark wash jeans, a paperboy hat and an embroidered black shirt.

The model, who first hit the runway at SS 2018 NYFW in 2017, has been in NYC attending events and squeezing in celebrations for her new milestone.

To mark her 18th birthday she was the cover star of British Vogue. She told the magazine that to her ‘Being 18…means independence. Age is very much so a concept, I think it places a label on you.’

She continued: ‘Ever since I was younger people told me I was a really old soul. Because I felt I understood things I never learned.’

‘I would tell my younger self to worry a little bit less. And how beauty and confidence all comes from how you feel inside,’ Kaia said. ‘I just hope the next 18 years I can spend learning more and educating myself more.’
