This is the moment a crazed yob smashed a wine bottle through the window of a Domino’s driver at the end of his 14-hour shift.
Kamran Hussain was making a delivery at around 4am on Friday, when the thug suddenly appeared on James Street in Liverpool city centre and, according to Mr Hussain, wrongly accused the 27-year-old of trying to run him over.
The attacker then opened his driver’s door and began punching him repeatedly in the head and pulling his shirt.
Mr Hussain got out and armed himself with a badminton racket that was in his boot.
But the yob had managed to find an empty wine bottle from a nearby bin and smashed it through the driver’s window, narrowly missing his head, but showering him in shards of broken glass.
Next, he looked in Mr Hussain’s boot and hurled some engine oil over him, before the victim managed to start his Fiat Punto and escape.
The Domino’s employee, who came to Liverpool in 2008, told the Liverpool Echo: ‘If that wine bottle had hit me in the head it would have been game over.
