‘What a great afternoon!’ Naomi Watt’s ex-partner Liev Schreiber takes their son Samuel Kai, 11, to the ballet in New York City
Liev Schreiber took his son Samuel Kai to the ballet on Sunday.
Experiencing a backstage tour courtesy of New York City’s American Ballet Theatre, the father-son duo later said they had a ‘great afternoon’.
The Ray Donovan star, 52, shared a photo to Instagram of himself with Samuel, 11, and the American Ballet Theatre’s principal dancer Misty Copeland.

Samuel, who goes by his middle name Kai, smiled while posing in a longsleeve grey shirt and jeans.
Liev shares custody of Samuel with his ex-partner Naomi Watts, whom he split from in 2016 after 11 years together.
The former couple, who never married, also have an older son: 12-year-old Sasha.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar in August, Naomi revealed how her split from Liev had changed their family dynamic.

The English-born actress, 51, said that she and Liev are ‘better friends’ now than when they were together.
‘Liev and I always knew we had to put the kids first and that, no matter what, we would respect each other and take care of each other in the best way going forward for the benefit of our children,’ she said.
‘And we’ve kept things in a great space. We’re easy with each other and we want the best for each other. Our friendship is better now than it ever was.’
