Are YOU smarter than a biology student? Tricky quiz will test your knowledge of evolution, plant cells and the human body (and only the smartest will pass!)
- The ten questions were originally designed for biology students at university
- Quiz was created by nationwide student accommodation provider Nido Student
- Questions on theories of evolution and plant/animal cells proved trickiest
A fun quiz has been released to put the nation’s knowledge to the test and see whether British adults are smarter than a biology student.
Nationwide student accommodation provider Nido Student created the ten questions, which were initially designed for biology students at university, to challenge the public’s science skills.
To see how people may fare, the company trialled the quiz and found that 95 per cent of players failed to get full marks, while there was an interesting generational divide in the results – with the over 65’s doing best, followed by the 17-24 age category and thirdly 35-44-year-olds.
Questions on theories of evolution and identifying plant and animal cells proved to be the trickiest of questions – but how will you score?
