Caitlyn Jenner cancels appearance at new Florida casino to avoid encounter with Khloé Kardashian

Caitlyn Jenner canceled on attending a party at Hollywood, Florida’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Thursday to avoid a potential unpleasant encounter with Khloé Kardashian amid tension between the pair in recent years.

The 70-year-old reality star did not nix her planned appearance until the last minute, sources told Us.

The Revenge Body personality was advertised in an Instagram post from the hotel as she stood on a balcony at the facility.

Scott Disick, 36, and gal pal Sofia Richie, 21, joined Khloe, 35, at Thursday’s opening of the gambling facility.

They ‘looked very in love, holding hands the second before and after the red carpet,’ insiders told Page Six of the couple at the event, which was also attended by celebs including Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Bella Thorne and Joe Manganiello.

Khloé and Caitlyn’s relationship took a hit after the release of Caitlyn’s 2017 memoir The Secrets of My Life, as Khloé took exception to the way her mother Kris Jenner was portrayed.

The hard feelings lingered, as depicted on the family’s E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians last year, when Khloé took exception to Kim inviting Caitlyn to the family’s annual Christmas Eve bash.

Sore spot: Khloé and Caitlyn’s relationship took a hit after the release of Caitlyn’s 2018 memoir The Secrets of My Life. Caitlyn was snapped in LA last month 

Khloe, speaking in May with the podcast Divorce Sucks with Laura Wasser, said that she and Caitlyn have gotten along fine in recent times and have ‘really come a long way’ in their dealings with one another.

‘It was a struggle for all of us … not because she was transitioning,’ she said. ‘I think from just how it was all handled.’

News of the incident came as the I Am Cait star celebrated her 70th birthday Monday, as she took to Instagram stories to show off a smattering of floral arrangements she was sent in celebrating the milestone. 

One of the floral assortments was from Khloe, who wished her a happy birthday on behalf of herself and daughter True.
