Andy Ruiz Jr has yet again displayed his incredible weight loss as he continues to prepare for his huge heavyweight rematch with Anthony Joshua.

The Mexican has been trying to cut some weight from his 19st 11b frame in a bid to become more mobile for when he faces Joshua in Saudi Arabia on December 7.

And he is looking in much better condition than when he stunned Joshua in New York City in June.

American boxer Michael Hunter, who is on the under card for the fight next month, shared a picture of the pair on Thursday.

It showed just how much progress Ruiz Jr has made with his weight loss programme as he looks to defend the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO he stole from Joshua after a brutal knockout at Madison Square Garden.

Speaking about his tactics for the fight earlier this month, Ruiz said a lighter frame should help him this time around.

‘I kind of wanted to be a little heavier because Anthony Joshua’s big, I wanted to carry his weight, take the punches well but I think being 10lbs lighter, I’m going to be a better fighter,’ Ruiz said.

‘I’m going to be more faster, let my hands go and be faster on my feet as well.

‘Ten pounds isn’t going to make any difference, if anything it’s going to make me stronger, it’s going to make me faster, especially because he’s going to be running around.

‘I think he’s going to be trying to win by points and my job is to cut the ring and do what we got to do and let my hands go, it’s exactly what we been training on in the gym.’

Former Joshua opponent and ex-WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin leads the way as he takes on American Hunter in a WBA title eliminator on December 7.

Thursday proved to be a busy day for Ruiz as he continued his preparations for the fight with a training session in the morning.

He then gave fans a glimpse of his stunning Rolls Royce, showing inside the white vehicle with a gold trim.
