Williams purchased the property in 2008 for $4.05 million, according to the LA Times.
Upon his death at 66, the star of Mork & Mindy, Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Morning, Vietnam bequeathed the bulk of his estate, estimated to be worth $100 million, to his children from his first two marriages, Zachary, Cody and Zelda.
However, Williams left provision for his third wife Schneider to be able to continue to live in the marital home although it would be inherited by his children.
Schneider and the three Williams children ended up in a bitter legal dispute over her demand for more money to cover the expenses of living in the home as well as personal items Schneider was holding onto that had belonged to the comic.
The two sides agreed a settlement in October 2015.
