The Queen also wore one of her famous scarves, to keep keep warm from the windy weather and her hood up to protect her hair.

While she also donned bright orange gloves and sunglasses as she went for a relaxed ride around the castle with one of her horsemen.

He rode beside her, wearing black riding boots, a black jacket and also a bowlers hat.  Her relaxed horse ride comes as it was announced that Prince Andrew will join her at church in Sandringham on Christmas day – where the public gathers to watch the royals.

The appearance is thought to be a way to gain an idea of the public’s opinion on him since the disastrous interview about his friendship with billionaire paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
