New Year horror as a BODY is found near Sydney Opera House hours before $6.5million fireworks display

  •  A man was found unconscious on Art Gallery Road in Sydney’s city on Tuesday
  •  Emergency services responded at 12.20pm but were unable to revive him 
  •  He has not been identified but the death is not being treated as suspicious

The body of a dead man was found near the Sydney Opera House on New Year’s Eve. 

Emergency services were called to Art Gallery Road in The Domain at 12.20pm on Tuesday.   

They attended to reports of an unresponsive man and attempted to revive him.

A man was unresponsive on Art Gallery Road in Sydney’s city on New Year’s Eve. Emergency services responded at 12.20pm but were unable to revive the man 

Emergency responders were unable to save the man, a NSW Police spokesperson said. 

The man has not been identified but the spokesperson said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

Thousands of partygoers arrived in Sydney early on Tuesday to secure a good spot to view the $6.5 million fireworks display.
