Kylian Mbappe has tested negative for coronavirus after fears he had caught the illness.

But Mbappe is free to play after being given the all clear by doctors in Paris, according to L’Equipe.

Kylian Mbappe has been given the all clear for coronavirus after suffering a sore throat

There were fears that the 21-year-old could have caught the disease causing havoc around the world but it turned out that his sore throat was not coronavirus.

Mbappe suffers from severe angina, a chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscles with varying other symptoms.

It is thought the discomfort he was feeling was down to this condition.

Thomas Tuchel is to make a late decision over Mbappe’s inclusion against Dortmund but with his side 2-1 down, the prolific forward will be sorely missed if he cannot take to the pitch.

The game is being played behind closed doors in an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus but thousands of fans are expected to gather outside the stadium.
