The singer, who has adamantly denied any wrongdoing on all fronts, faces multiple counts of state and federal sexual misconduct charges in Illinois, Minnesota and New York.

This includes an alleged racketeering scheme made to supply Kelly with young girls and sexual assault.

He has participated in hearings in the New York case via video.

He last week pleaded not guilty to an updated federal indictment in Chicago that includes child pornography charges and abuse allegations from a new accuser.

Kelly wore prison garb before a judge while his attorney entered the plea on his behalf at an arraignment hearing in Chicago on March 5.

Authorities had seized more than 100 electronic devices, including cell phones and hard drives, in the case against the singer as prosecutor Angel Krull promised at the time that the government would be filing additional charges.

His attorney, Doug Anton, responded to the latest charges in an interview with TMZ.

‘It seems that the government has sought to add additional allegations as to alleged conduct, with what they believe to be more specificity,’ Anton told the news outlet.

‘Why these alleged facts relating to conduct were not known by the government until now, or included in the indictment until now, raises questions for my defense team to take an interest in.’
