- A child tries to disconnect the living room Nanny Cam but is caught on wide lens
- Jeremy Gabrysch installed the camera to prevent his kids watching late night TV
- Video shows his son Nate crawling on the ground, thinking he’s out of shot
A child thinks he’s got his parents’ nanny cam beat when he crawls on the floor trying to disconnect it, unaware that his stealth moves are being caught on camera.
Parent Jeremy Gabrysch installed a Nest security camera after his young kids were sneaking downstairs to watch television late at night.
His son Nate soon figured out that a camera was being used to bust him and decided to do something about it.
But he didn’t take the camera’s wide angle lens into consideration.
Video posted on YouTube by Mr Gabrysch shows Nate crawling on the ground towards the camera.
The son deploys all military knowledge to make sure he’s not seen by the camera, making his way to its plug, barely looking up.

But Nest cameras typically come with a 130 degree wide lens – meaning they can see as wide as the human eye can.
The video goes dark as Mr Gabrysch’s son manages to disconnect the camera but all his efforts have been captured – it’s back to the drawing board.
