Police are on the hunt for a man they believe killed the mother of his son, and then snatched their boy in California on Monday.
Police responded to the scene of a shooting Monday night and found nine-year-old Daniel Morozov’s mother dead, and the boy missing.
Investigators are now looking for Daniel’s father, 48-year-old Konstantin Morozov, who is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Morozov was last seen driving a 2015 blue Volkswagen hatchback, but has abandoned that vehicle and is now believed to be traveling in a black Jeep Cherokee with license plate 7XZK698.
Investigators are focusing their search at international airports and boarder crossings.
The boy is described as white, 4’5 and weighing around 90pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The father is described as 6′ weighing around 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The shooting rocked the usually quiet community.

‘I was just like, shocked. This is a quiet neighborhood,’ said neighbor Randy Ranstrom to KEYT3 TV.
‘A guy approached me and asked me if I had heard six to seven gunshots, which he had already heard before he approached me.’
‘I said no I haven’t, and he said he has been living here for about five years or so and this has never happened in this neighborhood before,’ Ranstrom added about the shooting at the Arbolinda Apartments on North College Drive.
Police ask people to call 911 if they see Daniel or Konstantin Morozov.
