GIVE GINGER A GO
As many mothers have passed on to their children, ginger is great at settling the stomach, which is what Kayla believes as well.
She recommends buying fresh ginger to experience the full benefits.
‘It can have quite a strong taste if you aren’t used to it. Try grating some into a glass of hot water with some freshly squeezed lemon or honey to dilute the taste a little,’ she wrote.
‘It also tastes amazing added to juices and smoothies!’
One of her main recommendations was to include grated ginger in her diet

STAY AWAY FROM SALT

POP A PROBIOTIC
The reason Kayla recommends probiotics is because she says it helps by balancing the good and bad bacteria in your gut.
‘You can find probiotics in food sources such as natural yoghurt, sauerkraut, kimchi and other pickled foods,’ she wrote.
‘Alternatively you can take a supplement, however remember to check the ingredients for any sugars or additives.’

ADD ASPARAGUS TO YOUR MEAL
Her recommendation is to chop some asparagus and saute with oil or even add it to your breakfast omelette.
‘Asparagus is rich in potassium, which can help regulate the fluid balance in your body and counteract all of the salt you may have consumed that has made you feel bloated.’
Her final recommendation to help with feeling bloated is to make sure that you eat.
Kayla explained that if you skip meals your blood sugar levels drop which is what makes you irritable and could make you overeat later on.
