In the footage, the happy mom sings the popular lullaby You Are My Sunshine to her daughter. The baby girl bursts into tears and the mother stops singing to comfort her.
The baby girl calms down during the silence, only to hysterically cry once her mom begins again.

The poor North Carolina mom is only trying to lull her baby girl. In the video she says: ‘Every time I sing to try to soothe her, she cries.’
The baby’s reaction is seemingly amusing to the mom, and she tries to serenade her daughter at least three more times.
She tells the little girl: ‘Okay I’ll stop, I’ll stop.’ The baby calms down, but the tears start again as soon as the mother begins again.
