Housemates reveal the EXACT moment they knew they were living with a ‘monster’

Disgruntled people have revealed the ‘monstrous’ habits of their housemates and partners.

Photos posted in a Reddit thread show that some live with hoarders, others with cheapskates and an unlucky few with outright slobs.

Partners were the worst offenders, with husbands outing their wives for savagely tearing food packets, hoarding empty shampoo bottles and used rolls of toilet paper and leaving toothpaste tubes open with gel oozing from the lid.

Roommates didn’t fare much better, with many sharing shocking photos of mould-ridden microwaves and piles of potatoes festering in the corners of kitchens.

One particularly grotesque photo shows a pile of brownish orange sludge congealing on a windowsill, with dark stains marking the wall below where liquid had seeped down and dried.

‘My housemate still hasn’t got rid of his pumpkin from Halloween,’ the caption read.

The photos suggest that many women have a tendency to hoard unnecessary items.

One man shared a photo of his girlfriend’s collection of empty tomato ketchup, with six used bottles standing on the kitchen counter.
