An understated suburban facade in the Australian Capital Territory hides a giant family home complete with an above-ground custom-built wine cellar and a heated spa with a waterfall.
Behind the hardwood front door in Hughes, ACT, lies a sprawling four-bedroom, two-bathroom property that is the result of a knockdown and rebuild five years ago.
The owner of the property, who previously worked in building, decided that she wanted to make a feature out of the cellar rather than hide it underground and so she hired a company in Melbourne that specialises in this area.
