This is the shocking moment that a yob was caught on CCTV camera pushing a railway worker just inches away from the busy train tracks.
The railway worker had a lucky escape after he was pushed towards the edge of the platform at Newport train station in South Wales in the terrifying attack.
A manhunt was launched by British Transport Police today to catch the suspect clad in a white vest top.

He was spotted holding open the doors of a train – stopping it from leaving the station, but when an employee told him to stop, he moved onto another platform.
The train left the station before the man then ran at the member of staff, pushed him and caused him to fall towards the tracks.
The staff member escaped without injury. Police are now appealing for information following the incident on August 13.
Investigating officer PC Debi Rouse said: ‘This was an aggressive and extremely dangerous thing to do.

‘If a train had been coming and the member of staff fell onto the tracks, the consequences could have been lethal.
‘Violence and aggression against rail staff will never be tolerated. It is disgraceful that this victim was targeted for simply doing their job.
‘We are very keen to speak with the person who did this and to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information about what happened.
‘If you have any information which could help us investigate then I would urge you to get in touch as a matter of urgency.’
