Hair grows back…but try telling that to the outraged mother of a teen who shaved his head after losing a bet on the McGregor fight.
Ryan Fair, 16, from Perth, Scotland, sent his mum a photo of his newly-shorn scalp after he predicted that Conor McGregor would defeat Floyd Mayweather in Saturday’s hyped-up Vegas boxing brawl.
What his mother said to her son after receiving the snap showing his once-curly locks had disappeared has swiftly gone viral on social media.

Publishing the red-mist exchange with his mother, Ryan showed he’d captioned the image of his bald head simply: ‘Sorry mum I lost a bet x’.
The 16-year-old, who normally sports a mop of curly, brown hair, grinned cheekily for the camera as he showed off his new look.
The floodgates quickly opened as the image evoked a barrage of livid messages from his mum including the line: ‘I will actually f******* kill you’.
The teen had been hopeful that his man would win Saturday’s early hours bout but when Mayweather earned a Technical Knock Out over McGregor in the 10th round, Ryan was braced for the chop.
The conversation between mother and son has caused great mirth among social media users after her tirade of abuse was made public.
Ryan’s mum wrote: ‘I swear to God Ryan you can move out. I thought you were at work! ‘I am actually crying.’ Ryan cheekily replied: ‘It’s not the end of the world.’
His mum refused to back down, she said: ‘How are you meant to get a job now Ryan? You look like a total loser.You actual idiot.’
Ryan countered: ‘Plenty of people have skinheads Mum, Jamie is bald.’
His Mum riposted simply: ‘Disgusting.’ Ryan’s last ditch attempt to bring her round was by writing: ‘It’ll grow back haha.’
Ryan has since revealed that his mum has now found the funny side, but she clearly wasn’t amused at the time.
Social media users were quick to comment on the post. Aidan Edwards joked: ‘You have the worst head shape in the world.’
Jordie enjoyed Ryan’s counter argument. He said: ‘Plenty people have skinheads haha.’
However, user Mads was not amused. She said: ‘No, stop that I’d be same as his mum.’
