Two musicians found dead in house in Canterbury

Police investigating the death of two popular musicians have confirmed another man’s lifeless body was found in the same property just days earlier.

Max Martin, who was in his 30s, was discovered alongside fellow musician, Joshua Lambert-Price, days after another deceased man was found in the same house.

Kent Police were not able to confirm whether the deaths at the property in Canterbury, Kent, on Tuesday, are linked with the body found on 24 August.

Arthur Bates said: 'I could hardly believe it. Whenever I think about Canterbury, Max [pictured] is one of the first things that springs to mind'

The cause of each death is not being treated at suspicious, and officers are preparing reports for the coroner.

Jazz and soul singer Dulcie May Moreno said online: ‘Struggling to come to terms with the fact that we have lost Joshua Jack Lambert-Price and Maximum Martin. Two very much loved musicians and friends.’

Arthur Bates added: ‘I could hardly believe it. Whenever I think about Canterbury, Max is one of the first things that springs to mind.

‘I met him at an open mic about three years ago and it was always a great pleasure to bump into him whenever I was there. A true music enthusiast with a heart of gold and could always send me into laughter.
