Chris Blinston arrested for felony domestic battery

Chris Blinston, who competed on season six of the series Ink Masters, has been arrested for felony domestic battery in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The 43-year-old reality TV star has been accused by his 13-year-old daughter of choking her twice on Tuesday after a heated argument during a custody visit in his house.

The first time he allegedly choked her she could not breathe for 10 seconds and the second time she was not able to breathe for six or seven seconds.

The site added that the daughter, who is only 5ft1in and 110lbs, was ‘terrified’ and left ‘gasping for air.’

Her father is 5ft11in and 220lbs.

The TV star used both hands to squeeze her neck and he pushed so hard he cut off her air passage, it has been claimed. 

The daughter did not call the police but rather told her therapist about the incident, it was claimed. The therapist then alerted police.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the daughter says Blinston ‘grabbed her around the neck and squeezed off her airway and was unable to breathe for 10 seconds.’

When he let go, she allegedly told him, ‘You just choked me, after everything that’s gone on the past two days, you’re choking me!’

Apparently there had been tension before between the two.

The TV stars then allegedly got ‘furious’ and grabbed her neck again.

This time he cut off her airway for another six to seven seconds, TMZ reported.

She also reported that her father called her names like ‘mental skank’ and allegedly ‘told her if she told anyone about the incident there would be hell to pay,’ according to the site.

Police have already interviewed the teenager and noticed there were marks on her neck that looked to be caused by strangulation.

Sources close to Blinston deny all of the allegations, TMZ added.

The Kansas State University graduate was in the United States Marine Corps in the early Nineties.

According to Omaha.com, he received more than 20 military awards during his time in the Marine Corps, including the NATO Medal of Valiant Service for assisting in the recovery of Air Force pilot Scott O’Grady in Bosnia. That mission was a loose basis for the 2001 Owen Wilson action movie Behind Enemy Lines.

He rose to fame on the Spike TV show Ink Masters and he has parlayed that success into a career of personal appearances at tattoo events.

He is from Coral Springs, Florida.

On his website it states: ‘Chris spends his free time volunteering and concentrating on many endeavors that promote successful outcomes for coworkers, families, and children. He is a dedicated father, leader and community advocate.’ 

He has two young children in addition to his teenage daughter.
