‘(It’s) all my own. I think a lot of people think that everything I get is for free,’ she said.

‘But there is something very rewarding about buying it yourself and achieving it yourself.’

The Sweaty Betty director explained that while she knows she would be able to get things without the hefty price tag, she prefers to take pleasure in being able to support herself.

She said: ‘For me it is more about walking into that shop and going I’ve f*****g earnt it. That’s the reality.’

‘Don’t get me wrong I also buy property, I’m not all about the designer brands. But I like that, I enjoy it, I enjoy fashion,’ the eastern suburbs-based CEO added.
