Lately Olivia has been sharing updates on pre-production of her upcoming thriller Don’t Worry Darling, which began shooting on Monday.
Earlier this month, the actress shared a photo of her looking surprised yet excited behind her mask as she stood by a makeshift sign saying there were only 12 days left until principal photography began.
‘Errrr mrrr grrrrrd,’ she captioned it, referencing a classic meme.

That same day, she shared the news of new cast additions as If Beale Street Could Talk’s KiKi Layne and Crazy Rich Asians’ Gemma Chan joined her new ensemble.
And before that there were more casting announcements, as Deadline revealed Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Douglas Smith, Kate Berlant, and Asif Ali had joined the roster.
The movie will also star Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and Chris Pine, and Olivia will even have a supporting role herself, making it the first time she has directed herself in a feature film.
Dakota Johnson was originally part of the cast, but she’ll be replaced by Layne due to scheduling conflicts with Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut, according to Deadline.
