The Bachelorette’s Becky Miles is grilled by Adrian Baena’s protective brother

Becky Miles was feeling the pressure after meeting Adrian Baena’s protective brother during Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelorette.

The 30-year-old was unable to travel to Adrian’s hometown, the Sunshine Coast, due to the coronavirus pandemic but met the 26-year-old’s family via Zoom.

And while Adrian’s younger brother Tristan was easily won over by Becky’s charm, his older brother Jayden was a little harder to impress.

After introducing Becky to his family, Adrian’s brother Jayden grilled the 30-year-old beauty about dumping her boyfriend to appear on the show.

‘This is my little bro, I just want to make sure you’re the right girl for him, and I reckon it’s a big issue,’ he said.

Jayden continued: ‘So I’ve seen on social media that you actually broke up with your boyfriend to come on to the show. Is that true?’

Becky explained she had been dating someone prior to filming the dating show but he wasn’t the right person.

‘There’s a little bit of truth to that in that I was dating somebody before the show, but it wasn’t, like, a serious relationship,’ she explained.

‘And, for me, I want to find my person, and I think he’s a great guy and I wish the best for him, but I don’t think he was my person,’ she said.

Jayden then questioned whether Becky was appearing on the Channel Ten show for fame or to find love.

‘So you’re not just jumping on the show to get famous or something like that, right?’ he asked.

‘No, not at all. I’m a pretty private person outside of this. I’m at that point in life where I really want to meet somebody,’ she explained.

‘And after meeting the guys, and especially Adrian, we have such great chemistry and such great connection. And I am really hopeful that, you know, there could be love there,’ she said.

After grilling Becky about her intentions, Jayden admitted: ‘I had a few concerns coming into it, but I kind of feel like she said all the right things.’
