Becky Miles has confirmed her split from her chosen winner Pete Mann, just hours after the dramatic Bachelorette finale.
The 30-year-old confirmed the heartbreaking news in a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, saying that while sister Elly found ‘her person,’ things ‘didn’t work out’ for her and Pete, 35.
She then bravely appeared on live radio on Friday and broke down in tears, revealing the cafe owner dumped her via FaceTime.

On Friday, Pete also confirmed their split on Instagram, sharing an image of the pair cosying up during the finale of the show.
‘The Bachelorette was such an amazing experience and one I’ll always remember,’ Pete said.

He then complimented Becky and called her a ‘wonderful woman’ who ‘deserves’ to find love.

He finished: ‘I also want to take this opportunity to wish Elly and Frazer all the best with their romance. Two great humans who are perfect for one another.’

Becky meanwhile spoke to The Daily Telegraph about their split and said that Pete dumped her over FaceTime, leaving her ‘blindsided.’
She said that after the finale, they spent three days together before he went back to Adelaide. They were going to try a long distance relationship, with Becky based in NSW.
‘I feel a bit cheated because three days after spending time together and having a really nice time, I feel like that isn’t giving it a go,’ she told the publication.

Describing the moment she was brutally dumped on the phone, Becky added: ‘He said he didn’t think there was a spark there and he isn’t my person.’
She added about their split: ‘Pete ended it on his own accord. He told me that he had some concerns in the show that he hadn’t voiced.’
Becky also broke down in tears when she appeared on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O on Friday and said that she was a little ‘confused’ over the whole thing and said she was ‘disappointed.’
‘I’m confused about it because I wanted to give it a go,’ Becky said.
She said that after they spent those three days together, his doubts creeped in after they FaceTimed and he saw her mother on the phone.
‘He said after being home, he’d seen my mum come in and we did a FaceTime and he was like, “it just became more real then and I just don’t think there’s a spark there and I’m not your person,” Becky explained.
She added: ‘He said he had some doubts around hometowns time but he wanted to give it a go.’
Becky said that despite filming finishing weeks ago, she re-watched the finale on Thursday and it made her upset.
‘I’m a bit emotional at the moment, but I am in a really good place… I’m happy now, it just brings back memories.’
‘I knew this was all going to be really hard,’ she said through tears.
Jackie meanwhile told her: ‘I’m so sorry… but you’ll get over it.’
Becky also erupted into tears when she appeared on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on Friday.
‘When he got home to Adelaide, about three days later we had a FaceTime and he said, “look I’m sorry, I just can’t do it,” Becky said.
‘I still feel quite confused, I’m not really sure. He said that he didn’t see a spark there.’
