Serial rape suspect: Victor Hursh, 60, has been arrested in Oklahoma for allegedly keeping a 22-year-old woman agaisnt her will and repeatedly drugging and raping her over the course of two months

Police in Oklahoma have arrested a suspected serial rapist accused of repeatedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman while he kept her in captivity for at least two months.

Victor Hursh, a 60-year-old drummer and singer from Tulsa, was apprehended on Thursday by the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force along with the Tulsa Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit.

So far, he has been charged with one count of first-degree rape; two counts of second-degree rape, forcible sodomy, kidnapping and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.

According to police, however, there is ‘significant evidence’ that there could be more victims out there.

A probable cause affidavit filed in the case alleges that on June 15, Hursh met a homeless 22-year-old woman at a store in Tulsa and offered her to stay in his home on North Columbus Avenue.

When they arrived at the man’s residence, however, the victim said Hursh, who went by the nickname ‘The Reaper,’ grew angry at her because she refused to smoke methamphetamine with him and began punching her, reported the station KJRH.

For the next two months, according to the court documents, the middle-aged man kept the woman naked in his bedroom, shot her up with meth every couple of days and repeatedly raped her with the help of various sex toys.

The victim later claimed Hursh would also regularly point a gun in her face and threaten to kill her father and son, and poison her.

Hursh also allegedly tortured the 22-year-old by burning her with cigarettes, threw lit fireworks at her and strangled her, according to Fox23.

The affidavit states that Hursh told the woman that if she tried to run away from him, she would ‘end up like some of the other girls,’ and he then showed her bottles of bleach and ammonia, suggesting that he had used those cleaning products to dispose of bodies.

The woman’s harrowing ordeal finally came to an end on August 27, when Hursh took her with him to a convenience store.

While he was shopping, the 22-year-old scrambled over the driver’s seat in Hursh’s red van and went over to another customer in the parking lot, asking for help, but that person refused to act.

Tulsa World reported that the woman hid in the store’s bathroom until Hursh left. She then came out and approached a security officer, who called police at her request.
