Naomi Watts reveals that she would love to make a movie alongside her longtime best friend Nicole Kidman
Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman have been best friends for over three decades.
However the pair haven’t had the pleasure of starring in a film together since 1991’s Flirting – something that Naomi, 52, would like to change.
The English-born, Australian-raised star told Adelaide Now on Monday that she feels working with friends makes for a better filming experience.

Naomi worked on her latest film, Penguin Bloom, with two other close friends, and it inspired her to want to repeat the process with Nicole, 53.
When asked by the paper if she’d like to make a movie with the Moulin Rogue star, Naomi replied enthusiastically: ‘Wouldn’t that be great?’
She added of her experience of working with friends on Penguin Bloom: ‘One thing for certain we experienced is that friends can work together very, very well and we all just rooted for each other and it was wonderful.’

The pair share one of Hollywood’s most enduring friendships, after meeting at while both attending North Sydney Girls’ High School.
However, Naomi admitted that it wasn’t until when she nabbed a role in the film Flirting back in 1991 that their friendship really took off.
‘We already knew each other but that’s when our friendship forged,’ Naomi told PEOPLE in June 2017.
