The man was caught on film watching what appeared to be the soap opera as he steered the vehicle down a busy dual carriageway on Tuesday afternoon.

Video footage captured by Leigh shows how the man’s phone was mounted on his windscreen as he drove the large Ford Transit.
The driver was wearing a high-vis vest as he sat at the wheel.

The journalist for BBC Look East can be heard saying in disbelief: ‘He’s watching his phone while driving.
‘Oh my god… I can’t believe it.’
She posted the video on Twitter with the words: ‘Just seen a guy casually watching Eastenders while driving through London…’
Twitter users were equally shocked at the man’s behaviour, with one person writing: ‘This guy just doesn’t have any common sense!’
‘Am sure the Met Police and MPS Roads & Transport Policing Command would be interested in this footage,’ another said.
