Candyman Travers Beynon shares beauty tips with daughter

Candyman Travers Beynon has revealed he shared beauty and fashion tips with his teenage daughter.

The Gold Coast tobacco tycoon’s 16-year-old daughter Lucciana dreams of moving to New York and modelling for lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret.

And when it comes to seeking advice on what to wear, the aspiring model looks to her father, a former model.

‘Cause her aspiration is to be a model, and I was once a model, so she comes to me where normally, a daughter would go to her mother, she comes to her father,’ Beynon told Sunrise.

He adds that although he has concerns about the modelling industry, he is supporting his young daughter in achieving her dreams.

‘I have a lot of concerns, but I would never stand in the way of any of my children’s dreams,’ he said.

‘She has wanted to do this since she was 12 or 13, so I’ve been doing everything I can to mature her.’

He added: ‘It’s a very tough industry for women, but it can set them up for life and give them a great future.’

And although Beynon is best known for his luxurious womanising lifestyle, he says his children grew up watching him work hard.

‘I certainly wouldn’t give my kids anything for nothing, they’ve got to earn their way,’ he said.

‘It wasn’t always like this, the kids grew up watching me working seven days, working nights.

‘I was driving a second-hand ute that cost about $3,000. They grew up watching that.’

Lucciana – who has worked in McDonald’s – says seeing her father’s success has inspired her to work hard for the same.

‘If I didn’t have a dad like mine, I wouldn’t have as big dreams as I do,’ she told the morning program.

‘I mean, with all his success, it makes me want it more.’
