The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and Lee Elliott hint they’re getting married as they catch a flight to Tasmania… weeks after confirming it was their wedding destination
They were forced to cancel their plans for a destination wedding in Italy earlier in the year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
But it seems The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and Lee Elliott could be walking down the aisle this weekend.
The couple, who got engaged in September last year, revealed on Thursday they were on their way Tasmania – which just so happens to be where they decided to wed after their plans for an overseas ceremony were scrapped.
And they’re off! The Bachelorette’s Georgia Love and Lee Elliott have hinted they’re getting married this weekend. The pair caught a flight to Tasmania on Thursday, weeks after confirming it was their wedding destination
Lee all but confirmed their nuptials were imminent when he captioned a photo of the pair: ‘I’ve been waiting far too long to walk down the aisle with you!’
Georgia, 31, also posted similar footage of the couple cheering at Melbourne Airport, and wrote: ‘Just a little excited for our long-awaited walk down the aisle… of a plane!’
They were about to board a Jetstar flight – and only one, headed for Launceston, Tasmania, departed from Melbourne Airport on Thursday.

It’s been a difficult journey for the lovebirds, who met on The Bachelorette in 2016.
They originally wanted to get married in Italy, but then chose Tasmania as their alternative wedding destination when international borders closed.
But disaster struck the Melbourne-based couple when Victoria slammed its borders shut in response to a second wave of coronavirus, meaning their back-up plans were also thwarted.

‘HAHAHAHAHA OMG SO FUNNY I’M TOTALLY FINE!!!!!’ she added.
Now that borders are open once again, it’s quite possible Georgia and Lee have dashed over to Tasmania to tie the knot without giving fans notice.
