Iconic Hollywood props including Darth Vader’s suit and Wicked Witch of the West’s hat to go under the hammer at memorabilia auction
Hollywood history is set to be sold to the highest bidder later this month.
Iconic props from films such as Star Wars, The Wizard of Oz and Avengers: Age of Ultron will go under the hammer at the Profiles in History auction on December 18.
Among the items available are the Wicked With of the West’s hat from 1939’s The Wizard of Oz and Thor’s Mjölnir Hammer from 2015’s Avengers sequel.

The legendary witch’s hat from the 1939 Judy Garland classic is listed at $100,000 to $150,000 but is ‘expected to go for much much more,’ according to the auctioneers.
Meanwhile, the official Lucasfilm-sanctioned Darth Vader promotional touring suit used for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi movies is expected to fetch approximately the same amount.
Thor’s hammer, used by all the main cast in the ‘Worthy Test’ sequence of the 2015 blockbuster, is listed for $20,000 to $30,000.

Also listed are Black Widow’s stun baton, as wielded by Scarlet Johansson is Captain America: Civil War, for $600 – $800.
For an estimated $400 to $600 you could own Whitney Houston’s Queen of The Night costume she wore while playing the character Rachel Marron in the famous 1992 film The Bodyguard.
And Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli’s signature Triumph Trophy TR5 Motorcycle, ridden by Henry Winkler in the hit TV show Happy Days, is estimated to sell for $70,000 to $90,000.

For sports fans, the game worn jerseys of two of basketball’s greatest legends, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, are also being auctioned off.
The number 23 jersey, worn by Jordan in the 1997/98 season for the Chicago Bulls is expected to sell for an estimated $8,000 to $12,000.
