Jett Kenny praises his Ironman father Grant’s kayaking skills after following in his famous father’s footsteps
Jett Kenny has nothing but praise for his father, the celebrated Ironman and surf lifesaver Grant Kenny.
The model, 27, gushed about Grant’s skills as a surfer and kayaker on Instagram earlier this week.
He made the comment after the account Brown Cardigan posted a video of an enthusiastic paddle boarder along with the caption: ‘Settle down Grant Kenny.’

Jett then responded: ‘F**k he wishes he was that good.’
At 16-years-old, Grant famously won both the Australian Junior and Open Iron Man Championship on the same day.
He later competed in the Summer Olympics, where he won a Bronze medal.

Jett has followed in his father’s footsteps by doing ironman competitions too.
In recent years, he’s started to pursue a career in entertainment by appearing on shows like Australian Ninja Warrior, The Real Full Monty and Dancing With The Stars.
At one point, he was even rumoured to become the next Bachelor.

Last month, Jett enjoyed the perks of being an Instagram star as he debuted a flashy new $50,000 Mercedes-Benz sports car.
Posting to his page, he shared a picture of his silver vehicle alongside the caption: ‘Right on time. Lesgoo.’
Jett, who is the son of swimming legend Lisa Curry and Ironman Grant, was previously the owner of a bright red Mercedes-Benz SUV.
