The video was posted to YouTube by Third Phase of the Moon, a channel that regularly posts videos it claims show signs of aliens.
The footage was originally shot by Nasa from the International Space Station, and shows three white ringed shapes below the station.
In the video, a spokesperson for Third Phase of the Moon says: ‘We’ve got three strange anomalies drifting downwards just above the Earth’s atmosphere.
‘Is this something extraterrestrial?’
The channel owners describe the mysterious objects as ‘smoke rings’ that ‘seem to be drifting.’
They said: ‘I’m not sure these are just anomalous clouds – there’s no other ones in the hemisphere.
‘If you look at them closely you’re just not sure.
‘Are they portals of some sort?’
The video has gained over 11,250 views, many from people who support the view that the objects are signs of alien life.

TheGib74 commented: ‘Interesting footage, Nasa don’t want us to see HD, either that or they have downgraded to save for Mars.’
And J Sonders said: ‘They are too high and too fast for clouds. I noticed some UFO’S cause a steamy vapor when they enter our atmosphere.’
But not all the viewers were so convinced, with many suggesting the objects are simply clouds.

One user called Knock said: ‘Clouds you baboons.’
And Darren Cooper seemed to agree, adding: ‘They are called CLOUDS.’
The alleged sighting comes just days after a series of strange glowing objects were spotted above Morfa Dyffryn, a beach between Harlech and Barmouth famous for its naturist area.
A nudist beach in Wales could be attracting visitors from outer space, according to one group of alien experts. Experts at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) have noted the beach as a place of interest for extra-terrestrial activity and posted a notice (pictured) nearby
The sightings came to the attention of an American alien-hunting group that has appeared on the hit US TV show the X-Files.

The non-profit organisation, which logs reported sightings, has posted a notice close to the area.
The notice encourages visitors to ‘report any sightings or sounds and to take photographs’ to help with investigations, the Daily Post Wales reports.
