‘There are three ways you can make your bedroom look and feel amazing,’ Chantel posted on TikTok.
The first is by sprinkling half a cup of bicarbonate soda and four drops of the essential oil of your choice on to your mattress.
Chantel uses Dream Drops by Eco Modern Essentials, which contains a ‘restful blend’ of scents comprising lavender, geranium and ylang ylang.
‘Then, leave the mixture on the mattress for one hour and vacuum off the excess to leave it smelling amazing,’ Chantel said.
‘Spray plain tap water from a spray bottle when you tuck your sheets to remove the wrinkles without ironing,’ Chantel said. This trick is reportedly used in hotels to save time (pictured)

The second way you can make your bedroom look and smell incredible is when you put on clean sheets.
‘Spray plain tap water from a spray bottle when you tuck your sheets to remove the wrinkles without ironing,’ Chantel said.
Focus on the areas with the most wrinkles and pull the sheets taut when you’re spraying the water.
The reason why this works is because the water targets the wrinkles and gently loosens any crinkles that formed in the washing machine.
It is often used in hotels to save on time and ironing.
The third way you can make your room feel more like a hotel than a bedroom is by choosing lighter-coloured linen for your cushions and bed as it creates feelings of space (pictured)

The third way you can make your room feel more like a hotel than a bedroom is by choosing lighter-coloured linen for your cushions and bed.
‘Opt for lighter linen, clothes and cushions to make your room feel cosy and bright,’ Chantel explained.
Light colours make a room seem more spacious and modern, unlike dark colours which can close the room and make it seem smaller and old-fashioned.

Previously, the mum-of-two has revealed the importance of cleaning your pillows and doonas every three to six months, as well as your bedding.
You can hang these outside on your washing line, making sure you rotate every so often so that all of the pillow and cover dries.
When it comes to how to get brighter, whiter sheets, the mum recommends you wash your linen with half a cup of white vinegar instead of fabric softener, and put a little baking soda into your wash.
‘Baking soda is a natural deodoriser. You can use less detergent by putting it into your wash,’ Chantel said.
‘Vinegar softens and brightens linens without leaving a residue.’
Finally, linen spray can help to give your bedroom a hotel or spa-like feel – and means it will smell fresh for the coming days.
