BMX stunt gone wrong leaves cyclist to faceplant the floor

  • Footage has emerged of a BMX rider attempting to jump a ramp in the woods
  • The daredevil rider can be seen speeding up to the ramp before flying over it
  • But his front wheel collapses on landing, leaving him to faceplant the floor

This is the painful moment an unfortunate cyclist faceplants the floor after jumping over a ramp in the woods.

The daredevil biker can be seen pedaling furiously as he approaches the ramp while a friend films.

In the next shot he is seen flying over the top of the mud mound but while in mid-air he shouts something unintelligible – perhaps realising he has misjudged the jump.

It all started so promising for the rider, who pedaled furiously in the run up to the ramp

But the bike’s front wheel collapses completely on impact, leaving the rider to face the full force of the crash.

With a sickening thud, he faceplants the ground but his momentum continues and his face drags through the mud before he eventually comes to a stop.

In the final shot he can be seen lying stunned on the floor with the bike – complete with horribly contorted front wheel – resting on top of him.

He lets out a painful groan as air hisses out of the burst tyre.

The person behind the camera does not say a word throughout the 23 second video, not even rushing over to help once the rider is lying helplessly on the ground.

It is not clear when or where the footage was taken but the video was uploaded by Viral Video UK on September 7.
