With local government election ballots cast and collected, Sydney is now anxiously waiting to hear which individuals will come out on top.
And one front-runner could become one of the city’s youngest ever mayors: Zac Miles.
An avid Liberal supporter, Mr Miles, 26, is pending the result of a tight battle with fellow councillor Mark Bennett in the Hunter Hills electorate.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph Mr Miles said: ‘I’m very passionate about politics and caught the bug at a young age.
‘Outside of politics I work with horses. My family breaks in young horses on a property out in Windsor.’

‘How are we all still single?’ he wrote on a picture in front of Sydney Harbour with a group of friends.
Judging by his official Instagram page the budding politician has a love for sailing, his 1974 Corvette stingray and spending weekends on the farm.
He also appears to be a Trump supporter, uploading a picture of himself in the iconic red cap on election day with the caption: ‘Lesser of two evils looks to be prevailing… Who brought the hotdogs and beer’

The local government election results are currently being posted online and Mr Miles is currently in the lead at 39 per cent preferred.
The Liberals had losses in Randwick, Ryde and Parramatta but were strong in The Hills, Hornsby and Woollahra.
