Celine Tam and Angelica Hale stun on AGT

Two young singers once again blew America’s Got Talent’s judges and audience on Tuesday night.

Angelica Hale, 10, and Celine Tam, nine, both competed for a spot as finalists on Tuesday night’s show, with Celine, who revealed previously she was named in honor of Celine Dion, defending her place in the competition with a rousing performance of How Far I’ll Go, from the Moana soundtrack, released in 2016.

Meanwhile, Angelica showed off her talents with a flawless rendition of David Guetta and Usher’s 2011 hit Without You.

Celine, who first visited the show with her parents and her little sister Dionne (also named in tribute to the Canadian singer), earned a golden buzzer during her first audition in August.

Since then, the young singer, who advanced straight to the live shows thanks to that distinction, has wowed the judges, once impeccable performance after the other.

Only on one occasion did Mel suggest Celine’s song of choice, Whitney Houston’s When You Believe, was ‘too big’ for her, but she was promptly booed by her fellow judges, who supported the girl.

Celine seemed entirely in her element as she stepped onstage to sing the energizing Disney tune.

She made her way, apparently effortlessly, through the song’s fast-paced lyrics and challenging notes.

The audience cheered and clapped as the nine-year-old showed off her gorgeous voice, chorus after chorus.

Heidi Klum got up from her seat at the end of Celine’s performance, giving the girl a standing ovation, while the other judges clapped enthusiastically.

But Celine’s fate rests in the audience’s hands. Viewers have voted to pick the finalists, and the results will be announced tonight.

Angelica, who earned a golden buzzer too in July, also won over the audience by nailing every single note of Without You.

The 10-year-old stood confidently on the stage and imprinted her own style on the song, using it to showcase her impressive vocal range.

She seemed absolutely at ease as sparklers went off behind her to punctuate her performance.

Once again, Heidi got up from her seat, imitated this time by Simon Cowell, while Mel B, Howie Mandel and the rest of the audience clapped along.

Angelica’s fate in the competition will be announced tonight as well as Celine’s.
