A Greenpeace protester narrowly avoided disaster after he parachuted into the Allianz stadium before Germany’s game against France at Euro 2020 as he crashed into spidercam wires.
The activist, who had ‘Kick Out Oil’ emblazoned on his yellow parachute, glided into the stadium before losing control, causing debris to fall on to the pitch, nearly smashing into France manager Didier Deschamps, who sheltered under the dugout.
He nearly crashed into players lining up before kickoff and appeared to injure a photographer in the botched protest.

The activist seemed unhurt and was quickly arrested.
