Bachelor stars congratulate Matty J and Laura Byrne

They’ve finally gone public as a couple after their months-long courtship broadcast to Australia.

And ex-Bachelor stars have been among the first to congratulate Laura Byrne and Matty Johnson on their blossoming relationship, taking to social media to share their well-wishes.

But there were some notable stars who didn’t share the love online, including one ex-contestant who revealed they wouldn’t be watching at all.

‘Congrats guys!’ Bachelor stars throw their support behind Matty J and Laura Byrne after finale episode

Matty had his fellow Bachelorette contestants all in his corner for the night, with Cam Cranley, Jake Ellis, Courtney Dober and Ben Lyall all supporting him at a group viewing party.

‘Team @matthewdavidjohnson,’ Courtney captioned one group photo, also adding the hashtags #love and #bachelor.

Meanwhile, Georgia Love, who last year dumped Matty in favour of Lee Elliott in the Bachelorette finale, posted her own Bachelor message – but didn’t mention her former flame.
