Filming on Channel Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent has been delayed to new Covid-10 lockdowns in Sydney, according to a new report.

TV Blackbox reported on Monday that the reality show was due to begin shooting today at Rooty Hill RSL.

The filming was called off, after initially being delayed last week, the publication claims.

Production will resume for the show, which is scheduled to air later this year, at an unknown time.

It comes as the show’s international stars, American actor Neil Patrick Harris and UK pop star Alesha Dixon, complete their mandatory 14-day quarantine in Sydney.

TV Blackbox understands the network will now need to fund the stars staying in Australia for a younger period.

Filming for the new series was due to begin at the end of June, with production set to take place at the Star Event Centre in Sydney from June 30 to July 6.

The full line-up for Australia’s Got Talent judging panel for 2021 was announced earlier this month.

How I Met Your Mother star Neil and singer Alesha will join an all-star panel of Australian artists including Kate Ritchie and Shane Jacobson.

Meanwhile, former Australian Idol star Ricki-Lee Coulter will be returning to the show as host.

‘To say I’m a fan of the AGT franchise is an understatement. I’ve been watching since the very first season,’ Neil said recently.

‘Australia has phenomenal talent across so many disciplines, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join AGT in 2021 to see firsthand what the country’s awesome contestants have to offer,’ he added.
