- Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard beat five goalkeepers with one shot
- Lingard’s impressive feat was achieved in a challenge at United’s training ground
- The drill, Beat The Keepers, was set up by social content company Unscriptd
- After nailing the winning shot, a relaxed Lingard joked that it had been ‘too easy’
- But 24-year-old Lingard has not scored a real goal in six months and 20 matches
It’s six months and 20 games since Jesse Lingard’s last Manchester United goal but that dry spell did not hold him back as he beat five goalkeepers at once in training.
The England international took on Unscriptd’s Beat The Keepers challenge, which he joked was ‘too easy’ after completing it in a video shared on Instagram.
Lingard had to find the net with five shots, but an extra keeper was added after each goal scored. To make it more interesting, he was only allowed three failed attempts.

Unscriptd challenged the midfielder to score five goals, with an extra keeper added after each
But that didn’t prove too testing for the 24-year-old as the goalkeepers were not quite up to Premier League standard.
He completed the challenge with one life in hand as he beat the five stoppers by smashing a powerful shot straight down the middle.
Lingard has yet to start a game for United this season, although he has made four cameos as a substitute.
Although he has not scored for United since March, Lingard did assist Marouane Fellaini in a 2-0 win over Leicester last month.
Last season, he scored once and provided two assists in 25 Premier League outings, as well as netting twice and setting up one goal in 10 Europa League appearances.
In April, Lingard signed a new four-year contract worth £100,000 per week.
After completing the challenge, a confident Lingard, 24, joked that it had been ‘too easy’
In fairness, it was much easier than it could have been as the goalkeepers weren’t very good
But Lingard was twice denied by saves – once on level four, then again during the final stage
