Jet skier dressed as a T-Rex flies above water in Canada

  • Team of jet skiers decided to stage the stunt on a lake in Ontario, Canada

If they had not gone extinct 65 million years ago, you might have actually believed this was a T-Rex flyboarding.

Instead it was a group of professional jet skiers, who decided to stage the stunt on a lake in Ontario, Canada to see if flyboarding was still possible with a dinosaur costume on.

Connecting the flyboard to a ‘300-horsepower race seadoo’, the team launched one of their members of staff into the air wearing the T-Rex outfit.

The man, named by his colleagues at TorontoPWC as Justin Taylor, manages to stay floating above the water for around 10 seconds before coming crashing down.

Posting the video online, one of them said: ‘So this happened this weekend.

‘We decided to hook up the flyboard to @first1in_last1out race rxpx300 and experience some with the T-Rex costume on.

‘Can’t believe it worked. We can always rely on Justin Taylor to give us a laugh.’

The amusing footage, filmed at Ontario’s Muskoka Lakes, has sparked interest on social media with thousands of views.
