How can I clean my mirrors and windows with Turtle Wax

Step 1 – Apply the wax to your dirty glass or mirror with a cloth, wipe until the whole surface ‘looks foggy’

Step 2 – Wait for the wax to dry

Step 3 – Wipe the wax off using a microfibre cloth

Step 4 – Lightly dust with a microfibre cloth when needed

Repeat every three months

‘I have been using it for years and find my mirrors and windows stay clean for a long time,’ she added before clarifying she cleans them every three months.

Thousands of women liked and commented on the post, amazed at how good the mirror looked once she had wiped the wax off.

‘I wipe it on with a Chux until it is cloudy and then allow it to dry until it looks like fog,’ she said.

‘Then I gently buff out with a microfibre cloth, it shouldn’t take too much elbow grease if it does then you have either put on too much or not let it dry enough,’ she added.

She also explained it helps reduce build up on outside areas, especially those near pools or exposed to salt water.

And she wasn’t the only mum using the turtle wax around the house with others admitting to using it on their stainless steel as well as their glass fixtures.

‘It’s great on shower glass and knobs as well as the actual handheld shower too,’ one woman said.

‘It’s also amazing on acrylic surfaces like baths and shower bases. It will get all the grime off and have it coming up like new without ruining the surface,’ one woman said.

Others thanked the mum for her advice.

‘We have so much of this at home because my husband gets the packets from Supercheap to clean his car but never uses it,’ one woman said.

‘My son does the same thing, now I can actually use it, thanks for the idea,’ another woman said.

‘Turtle Wax! Who knew? I am definitely going to try on my splash back,’ another added.

The wax can be purchased at most automotive stores from $18 per 473ml.
